"Speedity" was born from a true story of a young karting racer and genuine love to cars and car racing.
About me
I am a 14 year old karting racer from Lithuania in 2021 was my first year in a professional karting sport life and FIA Mini category, and in 2022/2023 CIK FIA OK Junior category. It all began when I was 7 years old. I was driving beginners Go karts, I was participating in championships, where I used to win almost all the time.
In spring 2019 as a fresh starter in mono sport category (Briggs), where everyone driving with the same engine and mechanisms - in overall finals I have won 2nd place. And in 2020 I won all 1st places in all 6 stages and became overall Champion competing in the same category as a year before.
I won MINI Vice - Champion title in 2021 Lithuania Championship, 2022 OK Junior bronze winner, 2023 OK Junior Lithuania Vice Champion and Baltic Countries bronze winner.
What message am I carrying?
I am promoting karting sport not only with my achievements but also on social media where I am sharing my personal experiences and the journey I am going towards to reach my goal. Coming into this professional sport so late at my age (9 year mono category, 11 years old in Mini, 12 year old in OKJ) I can say that everything is possible! I do believe that by the example I am setting up I am encouraging others to join this sport. This specific sport develops resilience, braveness, endurance and determination. And goals are like dreams - it always comes true. Most important thing is to believe it!
"I will study and get ready and someday my chance will come"
I believe that I am going the right direction - every time, even if little by little I am coming closer to my dream. I'm not afraid of dreaming of becoming a World champion. But I know it takes a lot of work and requires financial support. This year is very special - I should be transferring to adult OK category. Even though I have partners who are very supportive, this time it is not enough for me to continue my career as a racer. Being just a teenager - it is challenging to find partners and sponsors.
Mission and Vision
So in reality I understand that one day I will have to step out from this - so I decided to start working to cover sport expenses. It doesn’t matter that I am only 14 years old - this business idea have been sitting on my mind for a very long time.
Hence so in love with this sport, racings, cars, autosport in general and knowing that the fanbase of motorsport is diverse, comprising individuals of varying ages, backgrounds, and geographic locations, united by their shared passion for cars and motorsport - I decided to focus towards that, which is my whole life.
For the past 4 months I have been learning design fundamentals, I have been learning about the business, what it is and how to start, how to create an online shop, I attended e-commerce, marketing conferences, I have been looking for material suppliers, created samples which I am improving continuously. I drew the Speedity logo on my own and with the help of a designer we brought it into digital form.
If I am lucky and you like my creations, to which I will be adding new designs and wider selection - I will be very happy, as It means I will be able to continue my career as a racer in karting and motor sport.
